The easy option:
Take a Taxi & Uber - they will be just outside the arrival area in the airport and it will cost approx. 30-40 Euros.

The cheapest option:
Take the train from the Malaga Airport. One ticket is around 3-4 Euro from airport to Carvajal. The ticket machines all take coins & cards. The train departs in two directions - go towards Fuengirola.
It takes around 20 minutes to reach the train station Carvajal where you must get off. Carvajal train station is in the bottom end of Reserva Del Higueron, and if you want to walk up the hill to the apartment, you must be quite fit as it is very steep. However, there is a small train (like in amusement parks) which departs every hour.
The flexible option:
Rent your own car before you arrive and pick it up in the airport. Drive towards Algeciras and follow signs towards E15 from the airport. Take Exit 1008 and drive into the resort via the main gate between the big red building and the Shell Gasoline Station. The apartment building is on the right-hand side just after the third speed hump.

Biludlejning er billig udenfor højsæsonen og dyr i højsæsonen, dog nedenfor er et par tricks du kan lære af, da jeg selv har oplevet dette. Der er mange biludlejningsfirmaer i Spanien, og de er generelt alle okay men det meste af hoppen placeres uden for lufthavnsområdet, og de sender en shuttlebus til dig og din bagage. I højsæsonen er der ret travlt, og det kan nemt tage op til to timer at hente eller aflevere sin bil. Husk at planlægge dette ind i din tidsplan. Jeg har lejet bil fra mange forskellige firmaer, men jeg bruger altid www.rentspain.com, den henter alle de gode tilbud fra alle biludlejningsfirmaerne, og der er nogle gange gode tilbud derinde.

Locking & unlocking the apartment
You will receive the code for the door on E-mail in advance.
You punch in the code on the door panel and the door opens automatically (do not touch the door before the lock has opened).
When leaving the apartment, press the white arrow button and the door locks automatically.



Parking
There are remote controls for opening the parking boom in the apartment on the kitchen table.
The gate for the parking area can be opened by standing up to 5 meters away from the gate and press one of the white buttons on the remote. Have patience - there is a small delay on the signal. Depending which remote control you take, it is only one of the buttons that operates the boom, and it is a different one on each remote.
To open the parking boom you can also just call +34 638 893 984 (sometimes signal is faulty and you have to try a few times before the boom opens).

Electricity and Meter Readings
Electricity is expensive in Spain.
All meter readings will be done automatically.

Laundry
Washing Machine and tumble dryer are in the bathroom.
The User Instructions are printed and located on the top of the Tumble Dryer.
Please remember to clean the lint filter after use of the tumble dryer.

Air-condition
The apartment is fitted with air-condition in the living room and in each of the master bedrooms. Remember that it is not necessary to have this running 24-7 while windows and doors are open. Best advice is to close the door and windows to the bedrooms approximately 1 hour before you go to bed and then turn the air-condition on. I suggest you off turn air-condition whilst you sleep as you will easily catch a cold if the air-condition is running while you are sleeping.
In each room you turn on air-condition with the little white remote.

Floor heating
The floor heating is good to use in the wintertime. You simply set a fixed temperature on the room thermostat and then it keeps that temperature in the room. Have patience as it will take up to 24 hours for the floor heating to reach the desired temparature. You will find floor heating in the bedrooms, office, kitchen and living room on the same thermostat and then in the outdoor lounge (Do not use this one as it is only a preparation for if it has to be closed in at a later stage).

TV
We have quite a few English channels on the cable TV and a limited range of Scandinavian channels. If they are not found on the TV, then run an Auto-Update (Select Aerial and Terrestrial and Digital and Analogue) and you will find them again. All TVs are equipped with a Google Chrome Cast device which you can utilize for you streaming.

Internet
The apartment has WIFI installed all over and there are two routers you can connect to. Information on how to connect is in the apartment.

Carrefour Supermarket ligger kun 200 meter til højre for hovedporten.
Shell benzinstationen er altid åben, og de har også et lille udvalg af dagligvarer.

Rengøring ved brug af lejligheden er dit eget ansvar. Behandl venligst lejligheden med respekt.

Husholdningsspanden skal ned i den grå container, der er placeret kun 50 meter nede af vejen, hvor man drejer ind i lejligheden.
Flasker, dåser og pap går i genbrugscontainere.

BBQ:
There is a Weber 57 CM Charcoal BBQ and a also a gas BBQ.
If you run out of gas you will find a spare bottle in the shed.
When you are lighting the Charcoal, use the starter and place it in the BBQ. Place one or two starter blocks underneath the starter and leave it there until the charcoals are nice and red. It runs best on Briquettes and sold in Bauhaus only.

House rules in the garden area, BBQ area and at the Swimming pool
The Green Shutters on the terrace can be rolled down by pulling the black cord. If they are rolled down when you arrive, there is a small lock which has to be released in each side. Pull it back and it is unlocked.

In general, it is a nice a quiet community. Please have this in mind when using the pool area and spending time outside.
The community rules clearly state there has to be silent at 23.00 from Monday to Friday and 24.00 in weekends. However, use your common sense.
There is a sign in the garden stating what not allowed; you cannot use the pool at night when the sun is down as it is dosing chemicals and cleaning.
You can use the garden all you want but respect the sign of activities allowed. That being said you can play with an inflatable animal or a ball in the pool and have a can of beer at the pool, but use your common sense and do not have glass around the pool areas.

Du vil finde et fantastisk apotek tæt på Carrefour i Reserva Del Higueron Shopping Center også kaldet Centro Commercial. Apoteket ligger i den modsatte ende af Centro Commercial sammenlignet med Carrefour.
